STLport is a multiplatform C++ Standard Library implementation conforming to the ISOIEC 14882 Standard (http://www.stlport.org). It is a Open Source product. This version of Standard C++ library is a port of STLport to the Symbian OS platform.

The Standard C++ library features the following:

• Enables a faster application development in Symbian OS via familiar standard interfaces and programming models.
• Reduces the porting effort of existing components to Symbian OS mobile terminals.
• Reduces the effort to have a common code base for multiple platforms.
• Enables easier porting of Open Source Software (OSS) components on top of Symbian OS mobile terminals.
