BLID Application Satellite Info API: Purpose

The purpose of BLID Application Satellite Info API is to display a dialog which indicates satellite data availability and quality. The dialog can be switched between two views, one being a firmament view and the other being a signal strength view.

S60 or Symbian OS dependencies

BLID Application Satellite Info API’s operation requires:

• The SatInfo.dll dynamic link library.
• The services provided by Location Acquisition API (described in reference document[1] ) that is a part of the Location FW.

Constraints

This API is valid for all platforms running on Symbian OS 9.4 or later.

This API is an SDK API and was first published in S60 release 3.0.
