Messaging - MMSMIDlet

Description

This example MIDlet shows you how to create an MMS message that consists of an image and a text field. The MIDlet uses the Player interface of the Mobile Media API (MMAPI) to first capture an image using the device camera. The MIDlet then bundles the captured image together with a piece of text into an MMS message. The MMS message thus consists of only two parts: one bitmap image (image/jpeg) and one text field (text/plain).

Compatibility

This MIDlet is compatible with Series 40 2nd Edition and S60 2nd Edition FP2 devices and newer.

This MIDlet has been tested on the following devices:

• Nokia E72 (S60 3rd Edition FP2)

• Nokia N8-00 (Symbian Anna with Java Runtime 2.2 for Symbian)

• Nokia X3-02 (Series 40 6th Edition FP1)
