City guide: Getting help (no DRM, no sign-in needed)

This design example describes a scenario for providing a help menu where the end user can check the policies for restoring purchases.

The user has earlier purchased city guides for a Guided application on their device. Now the user wants to flash the device, but is afraid of not being able to restore the guides. The content is not DRM protected; the publisher enforces the access policies, and has also specified restoration policies. The situation is the following:

  • The user wants to learn the application's restoration policies.

  • The user looks for this information from the help menu.

Screen 1:

To access the help section, the user presses the Help button.

Screen 2:

The application displays the list of help items, and the user presses the Restoration Policies one to view it.
