This design example describes a scenario for providing a help menu where the end user can check the policies for restoring purchases.
The user has earlier purchased additional racing circuits for a Low Rider Pursuit application on their device. Now the user wants to flash the device, but is afraid of not being able to restore the add-ons. The content is protected with built-in DRM, so restoration policies are defined by Nokia Store. The situation is the following:
The user wants to learn the application's restoration policies.
The user looks for this information from the help menu.
Screen 1: To access the help section, the user presses the Help button. |
Screen 2: The application displays the list of help items, and the user presses the Restoration Policies one to view it. |
Screen 3: The application displays the restoration policy information. Because the content is DRM protected, the application should refer to Nokia Store for restoration policy information. |
