Example: Creating a multimedia player

This example MIDlet shows you how to use the Mobile Media API (MMAPI) to play audio and video. In addition, the MIDlet shows you how to check MMAPI and media support on the device by using system properties.

Prerequisites

You need the following to develop and test this MIDlet:

  • Series 40 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2 SDK or newer

  • Series 40 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2 device or newer
