Implementation notes

  • Section 21.1.3 of RFC 3261 is supported by recognising the response 181, ‘Call Is Being Forwarded’, answer.

  • Section 21.3.2 of RFC 3261 is supported by recognising the response 301, ‘Moved Permanently’.

  • Section 21.3.3 of RFC 3261 is supported by recognising the response 302, ‘Moved Temporarily’. Response 300 is handled as an error, while responses 301 and 302 are redirected to the requested URI.

  • Response 302, ‘Moved Temporarily’ is used in the MT forwarding case.
