Example: Using persistent storage (record store)

This example MIDlet shows you how to use the Record Management System (RMS). The MIDlet demonstrates four different approaches to using RMS. It measures the efficiency of each approach, and displays the results.

RMS is modeled after a simple record-oriented database, where a record store is a collection of data that remains persistent across multiple invocations of a MIDlet.

Prerequisites

You need the following to develop and test this MIDlet:

Series 40 2nd Edition SDK or newer
Series 40 2nd Edition device or newer
