The Bluetooth API enables Java applications to exercise certain Bluetooth protocols and profiles defined in Bluetooth specification.
The S60 3rd Edition FP2 is compliant with the Mobile Service Architecture (MSA) Specification version 1.00 subset (JSR-248, http://jcp.org/en/jsr/detail?id=248), which requires version 1.1 of the Bluetooth API (JSR-82, http://jcp.org/en/jsr/detail?id=082).
This document describes the implementation of the Bluetooth API version 1.1 as it is in S60 3rd Edition FP2. Information in this document is not applicable to previous S60 releases which implemented the Bluetooth API version 1.0.
