vCard and vCalendar

The supported Versit personal information exchange formats are:


  • vCard 2.1 for Contacts

  • vCalendar 1.0 for Events and ToDos

The supported character encodings for the exchange formats are:


  • UTF-8 (default)

  • ISO-8859-1

The S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1 implementation supports extended fields for ContactList. These fields have a specific vCard properties which extend the standard vCard property values. Extended fields and their properties are listed as follows:

Note: S60 Phonebook supports PTT (Push-To-Talk) and Share View fields. These fields are not supported by PIM API and are not converted in vCard conversion.
