The menu bar is divided into the operation groups, which are:
File – Management of environment usage actions and properties
Edit – Modification actions
View – Management of the displaying options
Insert – Management of environment content
Tools – Tools to modify NCF product, application, and message selection and COM port check-up
Help – NCF Help and About NCF.
Each of the previous menus includes sub operations.
File
New – Creates a new environment
Open – Opens a file system dialog, from which you can select an environment to be opened
Close – Closes the environment that is currently open
Save – Saves the environment; acts like Save as if the environment has not been previously saved
Save as – Opens a file system dialog, from which you can select a suitable folder and give a filename for the environment; Saves the environment with given information
Start Environment – Starts the environment and products added to it (if products are defined to be started at environment start-up)
Stop Environment – Stops the environment and its products (if products are defined to be stopped at environment shutdown)
Start Product – Starts the selected product in the environment
Stop Product – Stops the selected product in the environment
Properties | Product Properties – A product properties dialog opens.
Properties | Log – A log properties dialog opens.
Exit – Closes NCF Full and the products that have been started in NCF. NCF Lite remains on.
Edit
Cut – Cuts the selected object
Copy – Copies the selected object
Paste – Pastes the previously cut or copied object
Delete – Removes the selected object
Delete from Product Structure – Deletes the object that is selected in the product structure
Log Details… – Displays details of the selected log entries
BT Command Details… – Displays details of the selected Bluetooth log entries
Product Structure – Displays the product structure
Log – Displays the log pane
Clear Log – Clears all log messages
Product Attributes – You can select which attributes are displayed in the connection of the products in the environment pane. All panes and attributes are displayed by default. So if you want some of them to not be displayed, remove the selection check.
Insert
Product to Environment – Adds a product, which has been selected from the structure, to the environment
Application to Product – Adds the selected application on a selected product
Message to Product – Adds the selected message to a product that is selected from the opened dialog of environment’s products
One-way Connection – After this selection, two products can be connected with a one-way connection
Two-way Connection – After this selection, two products can be connected with a two-way connection
Tools
Add Product Integration – Opens a dialog for adding ready-made integrations to the product structure
Create New Product Integration – Starts a product integration wizard
Add Application – Opens the file system for adding an application to the NCF
Add Message – Opens the file system for adding a message to the NCF
Check COM Ports | Environment… – Checks COM ports of the products that have been added to the environment
Check COM Ports | All Products… – Checks COM ports of all the products that use COM ports
NCF Help – Opens the NCF Help
About – Displays information of NCF
