The SDK simulates Bluetooth connectivity between SDKs with NCF. The simulation runs over a standard personal computer network using the TCP/IP protocol and does not use hardware for communication.
Note: NCF is automatically installed when you install the SDK.
The SDK supports simulated SMS in MIDlets using an implementation of JSR 205, which includes JSR 120. The SDK also supports standard textual SMS messages between SDK instances without running NCF.
Note: The users can make call and send SMS between two SDK's without starting the NCF.
