The S60 3rd Edition SDK for Symbian OS, Feature Pack 2 is a Hybrid SDK, which supports both C++ and Java Application Development.
This is a single S60 SDK that supports all runtimes C++, JAVA and Widgets. Because of cross technology dependencies we need hybrid development environment. Also, now there is a single downloadable SDK with all the APIs (C++ and JAVA) instead of C++ and JAVA SDKs which used to be the case earlier.
