This user guide is for Nokia Asha software platform SDK 1.0.
The Nokia Asha SDK provides a development environment for Java™ Platform, Micro Edition (Java™ ME) applications. The SDK allows you to test WML, XHTML, SMS, and MMS, develop and debug Java™ ME applications for use on Nokia mobile devices. The SDK includes Java APIs, an Emulator, Nokia IDE for Java ME (Eclipse), Nokia Asha On-device debugger tool, documentation (with examples MIDlets), and optional plug-ins. Note: There are some features that are not supported in this beta release of the Nokia Asha SDK 1.0. For the list of features that are not supported and for known issues, refer to Known issues and limitations section.
This guide describes how to use the SDK for application development using supported API's with IDE tools and simulations to test.
